Thanza, Bhutan at Harvest

Thanza, the highest year-around village in the Kingdom of Bhutan lies between its two highest passes.  In 1987 our guides identified us as the fifth group to visit and the locals welcomed us by dressing in their best and sitting with their children a few feet in front of our tents; we were the feature at the local 3D Widescreen.  Harvest was at hand for the fields of barley (mixed with peas).  Ikeda 4x5 Field Camera, Nikkor 90mm SW lens, Vericolor film, Hassleblad/Imacon scanner.  A high res photo making very large prints of great detail...contact us.

We print our Cards on premium, 13.5 mil, 100% cotton fine-art paper & package them with color coordinated envelopes. Prints have 2" borders, Rolled Canvases have 2.5" borders. Canvases require a protective overcoat prior to stretching; hire a Professional! Stretched Canvases are borderless with a semi-gloss protective coating; they are ready to hang. Prints have a smooth matte surface. Cards, Prints and Canvases are identified by the photographer's signature on the lower right corner and our logo is burned into the wooden frames of stretched canvases.       International shipping is available for Cards, Prints and Rolled Canvases at flat rates: $5 for a mix of Any Number of Greeting Cards; $30 for a mix of Any Number of Prints and Greeting Cards. The charge will be applied After receiving your order. We quote rates for international shipping of Stretched Canvases, but costs are high and we recommend purchasing Rolled Canvases; be sure professional stretching is available.
