Arctic Poppies-Denali National Park

Arctic Poppies, Papaver radicatum, are truly amazing. They grow from crevices in rocks in locations seemingly devoid of soil. The species and Purple Saxifrage (Saxifraga oppositifolia) grow at a latitude of 83°40'N on Kaffeklubben Island making them the most northerly growing plants in the world. This grouping was photographed near the summit of Mt. Thoro (5400+') in Denali National Park at 63°N latitude and, yes, Purple Saxifrage was there, too. Prints have a smooth matte surface. Cards, Prints and Canvases are identified by the photographer's signature on the lower right corner and our logo is burned into the wooden frames of stretched canvases.       International shipping is available for Cards, Prints and Rolled Canvases at flat rates: $5 for a mix of Any Number of Greeting Cards; $30 for a mix of Any Number of Prints and Greeting Cards. The charge will be applied After receiving your order. We quote rates for international shipping of Stretched Canvases, but costs are high and we recommend purchasing Rolled Canvases; be sure professional stretching is available.
